ABOUT GAON TECH

Gaon Tech Co., Ltd. is a specialized manufacturer of railway maintenance equipment and custom machinery, founded in 2019. We provide tailored solutions centered on the domestic design and production of railway and specialized equipment. We generate value by manufacturing equipment precisely tailored to customer requirements, and we currently lead both domestic railroad and defense industry projects as well as international cooperation ventures. Our mission is to develop innovative, custom-built machinery, aiming for sustainable growth.

2019: Gaon Tech Co., Ltd. established, obtained ISO 9001 certification, and completed the construction of the Naval Logistics Command Ship Integrated Test System.

2020: Registered as a partner with major construction companies and railway depot maintenance contractors. Participated in projects with the Agency for Defense Development (ADD) and Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI).

2021: Signed cooperation and supply contracts with COLMAR TECHNIK and several other firms. Initiated R&D for railway maintenance equipment. Delivered the exclusive Towing Tractor (E-Shunter).

2022: Completed the Traction Motor Test System for the Daegu Metropolitan Transit Corporation. Manufactured and supplied test equipment for the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA). Delivered the Helicopter Horizontal Stabilizer Test System to Army units.

2023: Completed maintenance equipment for the Shinansan Line Depot. Completed the KORAIL Railcar Self-Recovery System for accident response. Completed the Formability Evaluation Test System for the Agency for Defense Development (ADD).

2024: Delivered the KORAIL Multi-Axis Nut Runner. Participated in the GTX-A project (Dongtan Depot and Unjeong Depot). Delivered multiple units of equipment, including the KORAIL Hydraulic Grinder and Rail Clip Fastener.
